The official storefront for Blue Lotus Jewelry opened today (August 19′th, 2010) in downtown Santa Barbara, California. Alongside our custom handmade jewelry, the store offers a variety of items from local artists and imports from around the globe.

Items for sale include glass art, sculpture, paintings, photography, sacred objects, masks, scarves, and unique fair trade gift items. To celebrate our Grand Opening we are discounting all Blue Lotus Jewelry at 20% off for a limited time.

Our new store is located in the historic district of Santa Barbara at 135 East De La Guerra Street. We are open Monday through Saturday, 10 – 6. Come by and explore all the sacred art we have to offer!

Blue Lotus Jewelry brings you creations by Barbara and Erica Nelson. This mother daughter team combines culturally inspired designs with organic elements. Blue Lotus is based out of Santa Barbara, CA. In 2001 it began with the concept that much like the mystery at the center of the Blue Lotus, our jewelry would represent the beauty and diversity of nature. This began our creative partnership.

We use high quality gems, pearls and metals to create jewelry inspired by the origins of the materials. Our travels around the world are reflected in these designs. People, places and cultures all play a part in the creative process. Nature is also an important source of inspiration. The stones are creations of the earth and we bring that across with our organic presentation of jewelry. Our culturally inspired lines represent India, Thailand, China, Europe, Mexico and the Southwest. Our organic jewelry has pieces from the Garden, Elements and Seasons collections.
